Malta’s temples are older than the pyramids: Ġgantija on Gozo, Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra on the southern cliffs, the Tarxien complex near the harbour. “Excellent day - far better than we expected it to be The highlight for us was the Citadel where we would have liked another 30 minutes at least to look around the museum on a little more detail than we could. When we return to Malta next year we will be heading to Gozo for a full day at Victoria Rabat and a half day visit to the Citadel at least”

“Our guide Phillipe was knowledgeable and gave us the right amount of information on each site. The transportation was seamless to be picked up and taken to the main bus, and delivered back by shuttle directly from the last stop. The itinerary was busy but well paced and we felt we had enough time at each stop and were able to see lots in one day. The lunch was good for being mass produced for a tour group. The only downside is that 3 buses were doing similar itineraries so it got crowded at times.”
